Over the past decade we have witnessed an explosion in the number of studies focusing on education in times of crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the vast number of articles in this edition of Perspectives in Education will focus on education during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will start by looking at several other topical issues related to education in times of crisis.
