Abstract

The authors of this book indicate a global paradigm shift in recent times from an ordinary MBA (Master's in Business Administration) towards project management in bigger projects. After a slow start the profession gained momentum after the 1980s. The increased growth in industry-specific knowledge is enhanced by the booming information technology.
