Abstract

From text: This edition of the Journal for Contemporary History (JCH) starts with reflections on the theme of contemporary history. This first section is succeeded by a section on themes in 20th century South African history and a section on post- 1994 South African history. This edition ends with a section on themes in contemporary African history (with contributions by Shilaho, Simelane, Niyitunga, and Olivier). .
