Invitation: Special edition of the Journal for Contemporary History

Abstract

In the light of the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War and the concomitant rebellion in South Africa, the Editorial Board of the Journal for Contemporary History has decided to publish a special edition of the Journal in December 2014, with the theme: “A century of resistance: rebellion, revolt and eventual attempts at reconciliation in South Africa in the course of the twentieth century”.
