Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines below.

Author Guidelines

JTSA publishes contributions from the fields of translation studies, broadly conceptualized, both theoretical and applied. The journal publishes research articles of 5 000–8 000 words and book reviews.

Agenda

The sub-editor for Agenda is responsible for eliciting and editing opinion pieces relating to the purview of the journal.

New Voices

The sub-editor for New Voices is responsible for eliciting and editing papers by young researchers/academics, focussing on PhD research.

Reviews

The review editor is responsible for eliciting and editing book reviews that are relevant to the purview of the journal.
